Jamie Jelly Murtha
As Senior Manager, Data Performance & Labor Market Information in the Executive Business Unit, Jamie is responsible for leading the development of new analytics and provides expert interpretation of labor market information, WIOA policy and performance measures, program data, survey data, and federated data. She manages the Data Performance team providing support for research and analysis, data management, and reporting projects at Philadelphia Works.
Before joining the organization, Jamie conducted research in Pennsylvania’s political battleground counties on constituents’ social policy positions and perspectives. Prior to this, she managed data program development, forecasting and analysis, and the evolution of data-driven decision-making at Chanel USA and Theory/Helmut Lang. She has also served as a Girls Who Code club Facilitator where she taught middle school girls the fundamentals of programming and computer science in a weekly after-school program. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media studies from Boston University.
