Kimberly McCaffrey
Kimberly McCaffrey is the manager of youth workforce system at Philadelphia Works, the city’s workforce development board. She is responsible for ensuring the maximum effectiveness and efficiency of the youth workforce development system. Kimberly manages the overall operation of the programs by ensuring all goals and standards are met as outlined by the funding sources and Philadelphia Works’ goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Philadelphia Works, Kimberly worked with Goodwill Central Texas in Austin, Texas for four years. She was the Youth Eligibility Specialist Supervisor for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act/Workforce Investment Act (WIOA/WIA) program. In this role, Kimberly determined eligibility and suitability for potential program participants, and her team oversaw outreach to the community to spread the word about WIOA/WIA and other Goodwill programs to ensure annual enrollment targets were met. Kimberly holds a Master of Education in Rehabilitation Counselor Education from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services with a Minor in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University at University Park.
