THRIVE! August 2021

A Message from our President & CEO

Educate, Train, Grow, Repeat

At the core of smart workforce solutions and a thriving local economy is an absolute consensus that training and education are top priorities. When we invest in the upskilling of our workforce, we prepare individuals with more than just the skills they need to perform on the job. Through training and education opportunities, we help to open a world of exploration, confirmation, and innovation. We forge strategic partnerships to help achieve goals and see dreams come true.

Through Preapprenticeship/Apprenticeship, vocational skills training, the development of free online training and career resources (specifically the PHL Career Portal), and substantial investments in youth and young adult services, Philadelphia Works is proud of its continued training and educational investments. To our partners, board members, providers, and funders thank you. To anyone looking to jumpstart their career, come explore opportunities by registering for the Summer Hiring Series hosted by our PA CareerLink® Centers. There are still two events to attend!

Yours in service,
H. Patrick Clancy
